Get ready for one of the most scenic drives you'll ever experience. A tour that Rand McNally calls one of the most beautiful in America. Oak Creek Canyon descends from the Ponderosa Pine rim edges of Flagstaff, Arizona on State Route 89A into a breathtaking series of switchback turns through a panorama of red rock monolith cliffs, thick forests of Aspen and meadows of wildflowers as it hugs the edges of shimmering Oak Creek as it makes its way into Sedona AZ. Double Your Scenic Pleasure.

Silver Spur Tours is going to show it to you twice. Once going up the canyon and then again descending down into the canyon. Each direction presents a uniquely different perspective. The contrast of views is incredible as Oak Creek meanders through a tumble of boulders, meadows, hiking trails and lush colorful vegetation. A special treat awaits those that take the tour during Autumn when the trees are dressed in Fall colors.

The Scenic Beginning. Up The Canyon.

Your tour begins with VIP pickup at your Sedona point of origination by your expert tour guide. Enjoy the breathtaking views as we journey up Oak Creek Canyon. After a stop at Sterling Springs where you will fill-up your custom water bottle with cool Artesian Spring Water. we continue up the switchbacks along lushly forested Oak Creek to the top of the Canyon at Vista Point. Guests will enjoy the astounding panoramic views overlooking the Canyon below. Frequently, Native American vendors display and sell handmade crafts and Indian jewelry at very affordable prices. On some days, you might even catch a Navajo flute player playing traditional songs.

Descending Down The Canyon.

The views are even more spectacular coming down. We make brief stops at the West Fork, the most picturesque hiking spot in the area and at Indian Gardens where the ancient Native American Indians once grew their crops. This historical spot features great views.

Through Uptown Sedona To Airport Mesa.

As we make our way back to your origination point, we continue through Uptown Sedona where its world famous red rock formations begin. We drive to the top of Airport Mesa with its mysterious vortex and divine wide angle views across Red Rock Country.
